    I don’t get this one, Paul: are you suggesting that in order to imagine something one should look at the trodden path of what exists already? In the sense of exclusion? That can’t be it – or is this what you are saying?

    Thanks for your comment. I wasn’t getting as deep as that… I was trying to compare the way Google searches the interweb to find matches when you want to find something… to the way our minds use our brain storage when we imagine.

    People don’t think about how cool our brains are to make new creations out of bits and pieces it has stored.

    Come to think of it, it’s a terrible comparison that gives too much credit to Google… But I still like the way it sounds.

    I get it…connections…imagining is about connections between sometimes seemingly random snippets linked perhaps purely by a synapse and yet linked by so much more…
