As Panera Bread expands their stores across North America, so expands their marketing support team.
Idea Sandbox helped Panera Bread with two key challenges:
- Identify ways for the marketing team to create efficiency in their work process.
- Developed solutions to allow field marketing teams to shift their focus from creating local versions of marketing materials to making stores locally relevant.
Idea Sandbox proposed the use of customized web-based marketing software that would permit the creation of localized marketing materials with more efficiency and at lower cost. This tool would promote consistency, ensuring the company would communicate as 'one voice/one brand' to customers. Furthermore, it would serve as a one-stop marketing hub for the communication of important information and updates to the distributed marketing team.
The marketing team has presented this strategy to senior leadership for funding and implementation.
