World Creativity and Innovation Week
We’re in the midst of World Creativity and Innovation Week.
It takes place each year, beginning on April 15th (Leonardo da Vinci’s Birthday) and runs through April 21st.
The purpose?
To encourage and inspire people to use their creativity to make the/their world a better place and to make their place in the world better too.
It started in Toronto Canada in 2001 and is now celebrated in 40+ countries in over 100 businesses, communities, schools, associations.
You can follow along with thoughts @WorldCreativity on Twitter. Visit the official site at: CreativityDay.org
da Fingerprint
While looking for a da Vinci link for this post, I came across a gallery on the Discovery Channel Website. Included was this fingerprint from Leonardo. “The only biological trace of Leonardo.”
The Discovery site states, “forensic techniques have allowed Luigi Capasso, an anthropologist at Chieti University, to reconstruct an entire fingertip from the dozens of prints left by da Vinci on his notebooks, drawings, and paintings.”
How cool is that?! Just seeing that inspires me.
