We may have the answer to your Starbucks problem re automatic coffee machines. We have developed over the last five years an automatic coffee machine which has the look and feel and is the same shape and height of a traditional 2 group coffee machine.
It has a thermosyphonic brew block heating system ensuring a reliable stable temperature which is not dependant on thermostats and the problematic cartridge heaters. The group is horizontal and the coffee slug is compacted using a brass screw and motor which overcomes the problem with automatic coffee machines working with a spring which allows the coffee to expand during the extraction process.
The 7 litre boiler will produce 40 litres of water per hour. The brew cycle time is 45 seconds and it can produce 2 drinks simultaneously. There is a separate steam arm for the barista who still wants to froth milk in the traditional manner.
The boiler element rating is 2.7kw but this can be upgraded to 4kw for very busy sites. Everything on the machine is adjustable from the grind to the temperature and the drink size.
We are based in Birmingham, England where we have produced coffee machines for over 40 years and we are the only British manufacturer of traditional coffee machines.
