Coca-Cola Tastes Better in Amsterdam
In short, because they sweeten with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup I find that Coke tastes better and is more refreshing.

Same in Canada, right? Hard to believe a mere 2 hours away from me (I'm in Seattle), Coke is a natural thing....the "real" thing in truth, not just advertising. And real Coke does taste immeasureably better than fructosed-Coke.

I was in Ontario, Canada last month and I agree that the Coke there (I'm in South Carolina) takes much, much better. Here, it's not the 'real' thing

Being of the older generation, I quit drinking all carbonated beverages long ago, after tasting the so-called new & improved recipes for Coke, Pepsi / Dr. Pepper. Replacing sugar with fructose /corn syrup! These new generations here in the USA have no idea what great taste these beverages had. A bite of crisp flavor that refreshed without that syrupy after taste.
When will they learn?

You can thank Federal government tariffs that cause Sugar to be priced at 2-4 times its world market value. Far more expensive in the US than in the rest of the world.
